Phnom Penh Photo Tour | What to Expect

Professional Photographer Michael Klinkhamer is leading the daily casual photo workshop-tour in Phnom Penh. During the tour, you will learn to set your camera for optimum results and discover Phnom Penh City with your camera. We meet up at the Phnom Penh Eric Kayser Artisan Boulanger coffee shop, located at the Riverside House #275    Map: https://goo.gl/maps/EkEcSdXKGMk1k9ac9 to start our photo tour. If needed, we discuss the options and settings of your camera and what you like to shoot most. Then we discuss all the options we have to offer and the things you want to learn about in Cambodia and how to capture them with your camera. Then we go out and put our mind to capturing images.
First, we start at the main Buddhist pagoda in Phnom Penh and enjoy the calmness and serenity of this temple. After that, we walk in the colonial back streets and wind our way through alleys and markets and busy streets. We hire (included) tuk-tuk transportation to get to "Chinatown" This a very energetic location with excellent opportunities to shoot urban landscape, street food, portraits, and much more.
We sip coffee, tea, or something cold in the cool shaded alleys where life is always in motion. Then we jump back into our tuk-tuk to drop you off for lunch/heat break at your hotel. (Lunch not included) Around 2 pm, we will continue, and we will pick you up from your hotel or lunch address. The afternoon will be spending on the other side of the Mekong River, and we visit more rural villages and Mekong river communities and a small local school for monks.
We proceed by tuk-tuk and cross the Mekong again and visit a fascinating local settlement along the river where the Cham communities live and fish. Here we have a good view over the river towards the Royal Palace and the growing skyline of Phnom Penh. This is also an excellent location to shoot a sunset when we are lucky. We move on over the Tonle River and drive back to the "Riverside" to finish our photo tour of the day with a cold drink. End and drop off at your hotel.
